Turn Grab Mode On and Off

To generate grab files when a Lasernet environment processes a form, you can turn grab mode (for form engines) on through the Form Editor.

This action will turn on grab mode for all form engines that run on the selected Lasernet environment.

After Lasernet has generated grab files, you can download them and add them to forms. For more information, see Add Grab Files to a Form.

The steps below this note apply to Lasernet 11 only.

Turn Grab Mode On

To turn grab mode on for a particular environment:

1. In the Form Editor, select the environment from the Environment list.

2. Click Start in the Grab toolbar, or click Start in the Grab menu.

Turn Grab Mode Off

To turn grab mode off for a particular environment:

1. In the Form Editor, select the environment from the Environment list.

2. Click Stop in the Grab toolbar, or click Stop in the Grab menu.
