The users and groups defined in Keep control:
Who can access Keep.
Which Keep configurations and capabilities each user can access.
Note
This guide contains draft documentation for beta software. Until the final release of Lasernet Keep 11.0, the content in this guide is subject to revision.
Manage Keep Users
A Keep user identity includes a user name, password, account settings (such as “bypass login lockout”), role assignments (user or admin), group assignments, and direct access assignments to search and upload configurations.
For information about how to add, edit, and delete users, see Manage Users.
For information about the various ways to prevent a current user from accessing Keep, see Remove a User's Access to Lasernet Keep.
Note
User identities are managed in Keep, unless Keep is configured to use single sign-on (SSO) or LDAP.
Manage Groups and Subgroups
Groups enable you to manage users on a group basis. For example, you can add users to a group and then assign the group access to a particular search configuration, so that all group members gain access to the search through their group membership.
For more information about adding, managing, and deleting groups and subgroups, see Manage Groups and Subgroups.
