How Do I Uninstall and Reinstall the Autoform DM Client?

You might occasionally need to reinstall the Autoform DM Client. For example, when you upgrade the software. The best practice for this process is to uninstall the Client and purge all Client files (ready for a new install), and then restart the computer and install the Client.
Follow the steps provided below.
Remove the Current Installation

The following paths are relevant only for Autoform DM Client 10.x.
Uninstall the Client. One way to do this is through the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a Program window.
Delete any downloaded applications. This step ensures that a new copy of each application is downloaded the next time the Client starts. These are stored in
%localappdata%\EFS Technology\AUTOFORM DM\Client\Applications.Note
This folder will be present for each user of the computer, so you might need to do this multiple times.
Remove previously cached Client data. The cache folder is
%localappdata%\EFS Technology\AUTOFORM DM\Client\Cache. You can delete this folder.Delete the user configuration files that are stored in
%localappdata%\EFS_Technology_Ltd\AutoFORM.Client.exe_Url_<long hash>\<version>. Appropriately substitute<long hash>and<version>.
Restart the Computer and Download the Client
Restart the computer.
Download the new Client from Autoform DM:
Log in to Autoform DM.
Click the Download Autoform DM Client Installer button in the bar at the bottom of Autoform DM.

After the new Client installer has downloaded, run the installer.
After you have installed the Client, start it, enter the location of the Autoform DM server, and then log in to Client applications.
