Change the Name of the Server where Autoform BPM Is Installed

    • PDF

    Article summary

If you only have one installation of BPM and the job engine files are located on the same server, there is nothing that needs to be done before or after renaming the server, although we recommend stopping the BPM service before renaming the server.

If you have multiple installations of BPM on different servers that reference each other's job engines or have job engine files that are located on another server that has had its named changed, then you will need to update the URL of the job engine to take into account the new server name.

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Log into the BPM web interface on the server where the name has not changed and click the Job Engine tab. This will list all of the job engines that are configured for use in BPM.

    2. Double-click one of the listed job engines to open the Update Job Engine window and from here you can update the URL to reflect the new server name.
