Autoform DM SSO has the following infrastructure requirements and dependencies.
Note
The information on this page applies only to self-hosted Cloud and on-premises Autoform DM systems.
For Formpipe Cloud customers, software installation and configuration is done by Formpipe. So, the only prerequisite is that a supported IdP is available and that a clear security design and plan for user, group, and environment usage has been devised.
Autoform DM
Autoform DM 10.2 or later must be installed.
Note
It is assumed that an instance of Autoform DM that is configured to use HTTPS is available.
For Autoform DM installation instructions, see Installation Guide.
Keycloak
A running instance of Keycloak must be available and accessible to Autoform DM, end users, and any external services that want to use Autoform DM. This instance of Keycloak will require:
A supported database (which will store the Keycloak configuration).
SSL certificates (to secure network communications).
That a JDK compatible with KeyCloak is installed and configured for KeyCloak to use.
That a supported IdP is available and populated with the users and groups that will access Autoform DM.
Note
High-level privileges in the IdP will be required to create the infrastructure needed to connect this to Autoform DM.
You must also consider whether access to Keycloak will be through a reverse proxy. Instructions are provided in the Configure Access to Keycloak via Proxy section of Install and Configure Keycloak.
