      Backup Export

      Before upgrading, we recommend backing up your configuration by using the backup tools provided by the Lasernet Group. Refer to this article dedicated to the Backup functionality.

      Install Lasernet Connector

      For more information on installing a Lasernet package, visit Import Lasernet Packages.

      It is best practice to export a backup before and reimport afterwards. The necessary steps are described in Migrate Lasernet Configurations between Different Environments and Legal Entities video series.

      Backup Import

      For more information on backup import, visit Import Lasernet Backup.

      When using the Import functionality, all reports are updated to the new version you just installed (Stylesheet is refreshed, etc.).

      This may take longer than manually clicking the Update stylesheet button, but it will ensure precision.

      Note

      Making an export before an upgrade, followed by an import, is good practice.
