    Article summary

Test data can be replicated by navigating to Lasernet > Test and performance suite > Test > Replicate test data.

The Replicate test data dialog groups the settings into three tabs:

    • Sales: Settings related to sales orders.

    • Purchase: Settings related to purchase orders.

    • Run in the background: Settings for running the data replication as a batch job.

    Sales Tab

    • Create sales orders: This allows for the replication of sales order data when the toggle button is set to Yes.

    • Sales order: The data from this sales order will be used to replicate the data. Intercompany sales orders can be replicated from Lasernet FO Connector 6.21 onwards.

    • Lines multiplier: This value is used to multiply the number of sales order lines. For example, if the sales order has five lines and the Lines multiplier is set to 2, then ten lines will be created for the new sales order.

    • Number of tasks/threads: Sets the number of parallel tasks that will be run to create the data.

    • Number of records per task: This is the number of records per task. For example, if the Number of tasks/threads is set to 4 and Number of records per task is set to 5, then 20 records will be created.

    • Confirmation: Yes – Creates a sales order confirmation journal for the new sales order(s).

    • Delivery note: Yes - Creates a delivery note journal for the new sales order(s).

    • Invoice: Yes – Creates an invoice journal for the new sales order(s).

    • Copy attachments: Yes – Copies the attachments from the sales order header and lines to the new sales order(s). This feature is useful for benchmarking the creation and posting of a high volume of orders that include attachments.
