Import Printers from your Lasernet Developer Server Setup Printer Output Ports
In order for the end user to be able to choose a printer in Dynamics 365 FO, printers must be imported from the Lasernet Developer server.
Lasernet printer names must match the Printer Output Ports in the Lasernet Developer setup.
To import the printer names from the Lasernet Developer server, follow these steps:
Navigate to Lasernet > Setup > Lists > Printers.

Click the Update Printers button. The names are automatically taken from Lasernet and populate the list of printers on the Printers page.
Note
Remember that the page will be populated with all active Printers from the Lasernet setup. Printers can also be imported from the Lasernet servers page.

You cannot install any printer driver from Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations: only printer names selected from the print options are then saved in the XML file sent to Lasernet. As a result, Lasernet creates a connection to the printer. The same is valid for the Printer Profiles functionality.
Import Printers from your Print server using the Lasernet Cloud Print connector
To import Printers from your Print server using the Lasernet Cloud Print connector, follow these steps:
Download and configure Lasernet Cloud Print connector.
To import printer names from Azure, click the Download Lasernet Cloud Printers button.

The Download Lasernet Cloud Printers dialog provides the following options:
All/User: Option to download the Lasernet Cloud printers associated with the current user or all users.
Keep last printer info in Azure: Option to store the latest printer information in Azure. This option is also set in Lasernet > Setup > Cloud print connector setup > Parameters, but can be overwritten at runtime.
Yes: Azure stores the last printer information. Selecting download will always retrieve the latest printer information.
No: Azure does not store the last printer information. The Cloud Print Connector will only add new printer information to Azure on startup or if it detects valid printer changes.
Run in the background: Option to use a batch task for retrieving the printers, an approach which ensures that printers in the Lasernet FO Connector and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations are always up to date.

The following information regarding the Cloud Print Connector is also available for each printer record in the list on the Printers page:
Identifier
Machine name
Printer sharing
User ID
Environment ID
Running as service
Product Version
