Lasernet BC Connector 4.3.2.0 is aimed to be a quality update, provided through the following new features, fixes, and enhancements.

#395876 – The nomenclature ‘Job’ has been changed to ‘Project’ by Microsoft ® in BC24

PROJECT and PROJECTNO instead of JOB and JOBNO

Project Quote and PROJECTNO instead of Job Quote and JOBNO

Project No. instead of Job No.

#412439 – An issue has been addressed regarding the searchability of Lasernet reports

In previous versions, when using the Search function, for example, to look for Production Order - Job card to print the Job card report, only the standard BC report would appear, while the Lasernet report would be disregarded.

This bug has been fixed for the following reports:

• Prod. Order - Job Card (99000762)

• Whse. - Posted Receipt (7308)

• Whse. - Posted Shipment (7309)

• Whse. - Receipt (7316)

• Whse. - Shipment (7317)

#424923 – When adding a new Filter or Document Layout, Field No. is deactivated by default

In previous versions, when adding a new Filter or Document Layout to Lasernet BC Connector, Field No. was deactivated by default, which caused unwanted data to be stored in the XML file.

This has been fixed, and Field No. is now active by default.

#424925 – ApplicationInsightsConnectionString is obsolete

In previous versions, our telemetry was broken, so a new one had to be created.

Therefore, the updated ConnectionString is now included in our code.

#425780 – Report Selection is now automatically activated when Report Setup is selected during an export

As requested by our partners, Report Selection is now automatically activated when Report Setup is selected during an export (Export function).

We have also moved the Report Selections option below Report Setup.

#427106 – Data Formats now supports the Julian calendar format with YearDay function

Data Formats has been enhanced to support dates in the Julian calendar format with a new function called YearDay.

For instance, the date 12-06-2024 will be formatted 163, because the 12th of June 2024 is the 163rd day of the year.

Along with the new functionality YearDay for the Julian calendar, other often-used formats have been added to our suggestion list.

#429543 – Item GTIN Label report can now be substituted with Lasernet Item Label report

Lasernet BC Connector already included the Item GTIN Label report. Starting from version 23, this report is also included in Microsoft’s ® Business Central suite.

Item GTIN Label report can now be substituted with Lasernet Item Label report when the latter is active.

#431040 – The ApplicationArea property is missing from the controls of the File Formats and Custom Port pages

In previous versions, the ApplicationArea property could sometimes be missing from the controls of the File Formats and Custom Port pages. This prevented the user from adding or deleting new Custom Ports or File Formats.
