This solution enables users to create and use Lasernet reports with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that can utilize the functionality of an external Lasernet reporting tool. Communication between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Lasernet Server is performed using XML files that are generated when a Lasernet report is run.
The following operations can be performed with converted Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reports:
Preview reports in PDF
Save reports as a local copy in PDF
Send reports to a printer
Send reports to an e-mail
Send reports to a fax number (requires integration to fax system)
Send reports electronically, for example, in XML format (requires further mapping and setup)

Before you continue, ensure that you have received the right license both for Business Central and the Lasernet Server and Developer. At this time, you should also have received the software package that includes the software for Business Central, the Lasernet server plus a configuration for the Lasernet server. If you are in doubt, contact your Lasernet reseller.
