How Secure Is Our Data?

One of the biggest concerns with Cloud Computing is data security, and all of our Cloud.Platform releases have data security in mind as one of the main focal points. "True" cloud is accessible from anywhere in the world, open to all without barriers, which brings many benefits in this day and age when working from home. The reality is this can bring concerns when dealing with sensitive data.

Many of our customers want to lockdown access via IP Whitelisting. This is something we can offer. That said, we've taken extensive measures to ensure data security without the added barrier of an IP Whitelist, meaning end users can access services securely from anywhere. We provide services through our Application Gateway, a separate entity to the Cloud Servers hosting software and data, which is where all the web traffic is routed via HTTPS.  The App Gateway protects the applications from dealing with any "bad requests" and has extensive alerts and monitoring (over 6000 rules) that our team can pick up on. Not only this, but access to services is via DNS only, meaning there is extra security against port scanning tools, a common route of attack by hackers.
