Default Ranges

The Default ranges button in the Autoform DM applications page enables users to configure default values or ranges for the application execution. It can be set for the application or the Form link.

The following options for key mapping Type are available:

• Fixed value enables users to manually enter a value, which will be used as the default.

• Current company uses the legal entity ID as the default value.

• Current user uses the user ID as the default value.

• Relative date uses the current day (+/-x) as the default value.

• File name uses the name of the uploaded file. This is only available for the Upload application.

Default ranges apply for the Search application as criteria for documents that need to be retrieved from Autoform DM. Default ranges are overridden if the application is executed from a Form link. For the Upload type application, default values can be changed in the Upload dialog, if the key is marked as Visible and Editable.
