Cannot Enter User Name into the Lasernet 10 Sign In Window and Outlook Mail Login Window
A recent automatic update to Microsoft Edge WebView2 has caused an issue with the Lasernet Sign In window and Outlook Mail login window.
Summary
If WebView2 version 134.0.3124.51 is installed, you cannot enter an entire username into the windows listed above. The window accepts the first typed letter of the user name but does not accept any subsequent key presses.
To check which version of WebView2 is installed, see the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime entry in the Programs and Features area of Control Panel.
Workarounds
Use the following workarounds:
Paste the username into the window.
Right-click in the username field and then enter the next character of the user name.
Add an “x” in front of the user name that you are entering and then remove it afterwards.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in WebView2 version 134.0.3124.68. WebView2 is automatically updated, so this issue will be resolved when the new version of WebView2 is installed.
