    Article summary

A performance test (Top picking approach) can be initiated from a journal record by setting Background print to Yes on the Form link for the report.

In this example, Background print has been set to Yes for the SalesInvoiceReplacement:

This adds another button to the form called Background print:

Multiple records can be selected from a journal. Then, when the Background print button is clicked, the Batch print schedule (Top picking) dialog will appear with the records preselected (the RecIds of the selected records will be displayed in the Records to include FastTab).

Refer to the Batch print schedule (Top picking) section of this guide for more information.

The results of this Background print can be seen in the Batch print review form once the batch job has started.
